Cleaning your windows and door glazing is simple. You'll just need to wipe them with a soft cloth soaked in soapy water. Similarly, doors will just need an occasional wipe down with a damp, soft cloth. If any timber windows or doors are fitted, these will need to be re-painted or re-stained every so often.
Handles & Hinges
The moving parts on your doors and windows should be regularly oiled so they are able to move freely and stay in good working order.
Door handles can be kept clean by following the advice below:
- Polish handles with a dry cloth or duster
- We recommend that you don’t use metal polishes on your ironmongery
- If you need to remove marks, wash handles with soapy water
- Dry them with a soft cloth afterwards
- don't use abrasive materials or acid based cleaning products on chrome finishes
