How To Make Granola
The beauty of granola is its versatility. Our recipe is a great starter for a breakfast filled with protein and good fats, but you can add any nuts, dried fruit or seeds to match your taste buds.

To serve 12, you will need:
Time – 35 minutes
- 300g rolled oats (Gluten Free oats for a GF alternative)
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- 125ml maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50g sunflower seed
- 50g pumpkin seeds
- 100g walnuts (or nuts of your choice)
- 100g dried fruit (cranberries and apricots work well)
- 50g desiccated coconut
- Preheat the oven to 150C, gas mark 2. Mix the oats, oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a bowl. Add all the seeds and nuts and mix again.
- Line two baking trays with baking paper. Spread the granola between the two trays and bake for 15 minutes. Add the dried fruit and press some of the mix together to create chunky clumps. Bake for another 10 minutes.
- Leave to cool before serving with yoghurt and fresh berries. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
