Dad Olympics
For the active and competitive father, you can invite some families around to your home and have a set of activities that test fitness, agility and smarts. The activities do not have to be too complicated or strenuous, as the kids are likely to want to join in as well. Activities can range from three-legged races, egg throwing, timed puzzle fixing, and wheelbarrow races. The kids can help decorate the props and the garden with sporting pictures and signs. Alternatively, make it an exclusive family event that pits everyone against Dad.
Movie Marathon Day
Everyone loves the movies, no matter what their age. You can arrange a cinema in your lounge or family room and pick out all Dad’s favourite films. Be sure to add some movies that the kids love so the whole family gets to enjoy the day. The kids can help you fix all of Dad’s favourite movie snacks as well. Don’t forget the popcorn!
