Cool, Creative Ways To Use Your Loft
A loft in your home can be so much more than just being a storage space for your knick knacks. You can do a lot to convert a loft into a liveable space, and your home may need it.

Private Office
Your loft could turn into a charming office. If you require someplace to work but don’t have the extra space, a loft is just out of the way enough to provide you with a perfect choice. Get windows under the eaves to let in a lot of natural light. You can add some colour to suit your décor.
Gaming Room
If you love games, then a loft would make an ideal place to practice some of them. Most lofts have enough space to accommodate a pool table or foosball table. You can have a flat screen in one corner if you are a gear and throw in some bean bags for guests. A small fridge will complete the ensemble.
Lounge Room
When you are home after work and just want a place you can be alone, a private lounge room comes in handy. Another loft conversion idea is to customise the space to fit your relaxation needs. Have a couch or two, a coffee table and even a mini fridge. Add a skylight for natural light when you want to read. If you like to wind down with a nice movie, have a TV in there.
Playroom
A home, with children, particularly toddlers, will always need a playroom. Turn a loft into a place where the kids can enjoy themselves without restrictions. Remember to proof the room for the children’s safety. Also, add a cabinet or customised cupboard for storage of toys. The room can also double as a homework room. You can take a lot of liberties when it comes to the décor. Check out our top playroom ideas.
