Brainpower

Wine supposedly improves the brain function in ladies over 50. A study showed that those over 50 who drink two or more glasses of vino everyday were more likely to score higher in tests.  It has also been linked to prevent dementia.

Circulation

Those who drink wine have a lesser chance of getting blocked arteries. The beverage can improve your circulation, raises good cholesterol and dilates blood vessels.

Good for the heart

Drinkers are much less likely to die of a heart attack than those who go sober. Drinking a few units of wine a day may improve the chances of surviving a heart attack.

Sight

Drinking wine has been known to slow down the effects of age-related blindness, caused by degeneration of the retina.

Immune system

Our immune system isn’t affected by drinking wine, unlike other alcohol, which can help fight off infections. It can also kill bacteria at meal times, which is linked to food poisoning.
