You will need:
- Egg carton boxes
- Paint and brushes
- Scissors
- Green or neutral card
- Green straws
- Glue
- Buttons or beads
- Glitter
- Deconstruct your egg boxes. Cut flower shapes into the portion that holds the eggs. You can cut out spiky leaves, rounded petals or square shapes to create a variety bouquet. Use the rest of the cartons to make the leaves
- Now for the messy part! Paint the flowers and leaves in a range of shades for a colourful finish
- When the paint is dry, add glitter, buttons or beads to the centre of the flower for an even funkier effect
- If you want to create a flower wreath, cut the green card into a large circle that you can use for a wreath. If you don’t have any coloured card, use a neutral colour and then paint it green
- Alternatively, for a bouquet, glue the straws onto the neutral card to look like flower stems
- When everything is dry, position the flowers and leaves around the green wreath/straws until you’re happy with the placement
- Glue everything in place and leave to dry. Now you have perfect spring time decorations!
